Barbara Klein
1949 - 2005

Barbara Klein was one of the original founders of The Learning Community International and served as its Principal Director for over 20 years before retiring in March 2005 due to illness.

Barbara's contribution to TLCI and the hundreds of families that have benefited from it, were practical, intellectual and above all spritual. She more than anyone demonstrated the constant affirmation of what is unique and good in each learner that epitomizes the sprit of TLCI.

Barbara died of complications from leukemia on Friday, October 7, 2005.  Her family and friends have established an on-line memorial to her at http://www.BarbaraKlein.net
