K-8 Course Requirements

TLCI's philosophy of education encompasses a wide degree of flexibility as to the specifics of any given course or study. It is a long established fact that readiness is essential to learner success and TLCI's support and supervision is designed to respect the readiness, needs and interests of each child. Therefore, although the following basic studies may be required by law to be included in each family's program, every child's ILP will reflect the learner's interests, needs, or goals and change over the course of the year.

K-8 Studies:

• English / Language Arts

• Arithmetic / Mathematics

• Science

• Social Studies

• Art and Music

• Health & Fitness

• Other studies of interest to the learner
